Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by giants. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Manfred took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aldous's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kyle grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Shepherd. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Bookbinder.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Butcher. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and further expansion of business
