Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His brown hair is long and unkept. His eyes are blue.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Ernest learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He's also a talented Courier, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is greedy

Description: 5'5" and muscular, this western man wears just a green suit. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Raymond enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He prefers to wear black pants and tee shirts. His hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Raymond grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: An older man who wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
