His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roland is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A freak accident while working with his Actor father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Human compassion; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and doesn't want to be a barrister and was forced into it by his family
