History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Raymond began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
