History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gifted student he started as a Bricklayer, but he got bored and became a Brewer. He has achieved small success as a Brewer.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Bertram reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. His first spouse was a Cartwright, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: An older man who likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, he is not a threatening figure. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
