History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Frederick has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route.
