Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Gilbert liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Scribe like his mother before him.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
