His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Servant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Servant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Servant.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a Server soon after.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mayor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Roofer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and money/treasure
