Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nicholas studied abroad. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to unite with his brother

History: Gifted from a young age, Lewis studied abroad. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Jocelyn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
