History: Born in the west to a Courier, Hunter learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Diggory reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Animal Trainer; and an old rival family wants him found

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Cory was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
