History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Gerald was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Reynard was taken on many hunting expeditions. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He has never given up on his singing dream.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
