History: Born in the north to a Tanner, Alexandre learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Heward was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Navigator. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Navigator responsibilities is difficult; and he would like to get married and retire
