History: Kyle hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His childhood dream was to be a Performer, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Alexandre was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ruler. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a greataxe on his belt. He has red hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Aldous took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and wishes to resurrect an old love
