History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He bought a halberd and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a Beggar first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Bellfounder profession.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Lance was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lance's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His childhood dream was to be a Unemployed, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Mayor job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barber arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
