Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Chad was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears suspenders and tan workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. He wears a colorful flower in his black hair. His green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
