The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Don enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Don was born with his mother's beautiful face. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Don has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He got into the Map Maker business at a young age. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Percival alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Percival fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
