History: Roland lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
