History: Everard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Adam hails from a village terrorized by dire rats.
