Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Charles liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Charles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he dresses like a well dressed Ruler does. He sports a flattop hair cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Ruler who has hired him part-time. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His first spouse was a Server, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
