History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. The war was a terrible time for him, and Adelard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adelard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
