Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. This violet eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he wants to get laid

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a red broad hat and red clothes. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His eyes are blue and beady.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by his family; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
