History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Painter father left him crippled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Gilbert and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
