History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Anselm lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Masseuse they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Glassblower, and he later adopted a second daughter.
