History: Alexandre hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Randal is a bit of a follower. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in a small forest village. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Marshal. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
