History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and many brigands want him driven away

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Clerebold lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second daughter.
