History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Miles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Miles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Rolf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born in the west to a Painter, Rolf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When Rolf reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.
