Arnold Merton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Arnold was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Apothecary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Apothecary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and wants to open a new tavern

Jocelyn Gresham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This late middle aged man dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time and is in decent physical shape. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Jocelyn took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
