History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order.
