When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rolf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Rolf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Rolf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rolf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His childhood dream was to be a Painter, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Cartwright mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
