Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Adelard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and money/treasure

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Interpreter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Armorer business.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
