History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He tends to his Mercenary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bather born in the past three hundred years. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Gilbert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
