Aldous Ryland, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He tends to wear a tan poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
