History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: He was born in the east. A gifted student he started as a Tailor, but he got bored and became a Dyer. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Theobald was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by drow. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Revenge.
