Description: An older man who is wearing a tight blue one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: He wears green painted combat armor at almost all times. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his halberd, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. He wears his brown hair down. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nicholas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He stands about 5'11" and wears a red coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a small hat upon his head. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His head has been shaved. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mortician who has hired him part-time. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears skinny pants and wears a violet and tan robe with the hood down. He sports a long golden beard, and similarly colored long hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Alexandre lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Navigator hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
