When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: John was born with his mother's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

He picked a direction and started trekking.
