History: He got into the Sailor business at a young age. Thomas was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sailor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
