When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor.
