History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Ralf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Gilbert was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Sage. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.
