Heward Myerscough, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he usually wears his red robe and has his pickaxe always slung over his shoulder. His white hair is long and unkept. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Nicholas England, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with black colored cloaks and clothing. His hair is auburn and curly. His amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Nicholas has worked very hard to control his curse. During his travels, Nicholas and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Nicholas discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Nicholas fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.
