Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His chestnut hair is lengthy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Richard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He worked as a nervous Barkeep and found it very stressful. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Carter. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and balancing his hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult
