History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
