History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: Norman is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he loathes his own lifestyle

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to get a good night's sleep

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Barrister. He has achieved small success as a Barrister.
