Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Robert and his spouse have recently divorced.
