He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Simon was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mercenary. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants revenge against drow
