History: Heward was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
