He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born in the south. His childhood dream was to be a Server, but he was a colossal failure. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Don grew up listening to his father's many stories. When Don reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Sculptor. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sculptor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Robert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.
