History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bricklayer. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.
