Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is a Spice Merchant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Shane learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: Dean wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Body Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Body Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Body Guard soon after.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a great chef.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
