History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Anselm was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
