History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but he was a colossal failure. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born in the east. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Don lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Don was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Don's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Don never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
